Explorers Grand Slam
Jackie, our founder, has set off on a mission to try and be the first Canadian woman(4th Canadian) to complete the explorers grand slam(last degree); something that to date, only 51 people have completed. The explorers grand slam consists of 9 different expeditions (10 if you do it both ways). This means completing the 7 summits (the highest peaks on each continent) followed by travelling by foot to the north and south pole. To stay up to date on her mission check out our blog.
Happy Trails
The Happy Trails Program - a transformative initiative offering 100% free backcountry mental health retreats to the community. Rooted in our belief in the healing power of nature, we provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to disconnect from the stresses of everyday life and embark on a journey of self-discovery. Our carefully curated retreats take place amidst breathtaking landscapes, led by experienced guides, fostering camaraderie among participants. Through guided mindfulness, meditation sessions, and workshops on coping strategies, we empower individuals with the tools for mental well-being beyond the retreat experience.
Our Happy Trails Program stands as a beacon of hope for mental wellness in the community. Generously funded by donations and grants, we ensure these retreats are accessible to all, removing financial barriers. Nature's splendor becomes the backdrop for transformative experiences as participants forge lasting bonds, sharing their struggles and triumphs. Our team of professionals and volunteers work tirelessly to make each retreat a success, witnessing positive impacts and newfound perspectives on mental health.
